Keen to hit the road? But don't know where to start?
We know that getting started can be hard! (and confusing!) To help you out, we've teamed up with one of the best Learn-to-Ride crews in Victoria (Stay Upright) to offer a free Learners Course with any new LAMS approved bike purchased through us.
This means when you buy one of our Learner's approved bikes, we will arrange your 2-day Learner Course for you, to get you ready to hit the road with your new wheels.
Who are Stay Upright?
Stay Upright Pty Ltd is a Registered Training Organization, accredited to provide motorcycle and scooter training and testing services by VicRoads.
To get your Motorcycle Licence you will need to complete a comprehensive 2-day Learners training course (MPA), as offered through Stay Upright.
This can be booked for weekends or weekdays, and is inclusive of the eyesight and written motorcycle knowledge test.
Most of our staff learned to ride through this crew, and we are happy to chat with you about the experience.

What is LAMS?
Motorcycle learner permit holders ("Ls") and restricted riders ("Ps") can only ride motorcycles and scooters under the Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMS) in Victoria.
To qualify as a LAMS motorcycle, the vehicle must meet all of the following criteria:
- the motorcycle must be in a standard form as produced by the manufacturer;
- not modified in a way that increases its power mass ratio;
- have a power-to-weight ratio of 150 kilowatts per tonne or less; and
- an engine capacity of 660cc or less.
Thankfully, many of the bikes at Twisted Moto meet this requirement - including Royal Enfield Bikes, Benelli Bikes and Peugeot Scooters.
